Meetings and Nets

  • Meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month. During the summer it is generally a BBQ at a members QTH. Winter meetings are generally at the Mildura Workers for lunch, followed by an activity of some sort. Meetings are advised by snail mail flyer and on the front page of this website.
  • Home-brew meetings are held on Wednesday afternoons at the SRG clubhouse.
  • Midweek net at 2000 hrs Wednesday nights on VK3RMA 146.800 MHz. This net usually concentrates on technical discussion and testing.
  • WIA broadcast and call-backs every Sunday at 0920 hrs on VK3RMA 146.800 MHz. This kocks off with 10 minutes of local news, followed by a 30 min. rebroadcast of the weeks WIA news, Callins at 1000 fo a social catch up and members news.

Home Brew Meetings 2018

Home brew meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month in the clubrooms at the "Sid James Hut", Nichols Point Scout Centre. The Centre is on the corner of Cureton and Karadoc Avenues, Nichols Point. The meetings are very informal, come along and enjoy  some Ham Radio company even if you don't have a project. There is always someone who needs or can offer some help.

Activity Meetings are held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Venue and/or changes are advised prior to the Sunday news broadcast at 08:25 EDST on the local repeater VK3RMA (146.800MHz).
